Before copywriting, my focus was marketing, e-commerce and CRM in the auto industry. I loved that world, but the writing was on the wall (pun intended)...when my company needed something written, I'd happily volunteer. Over and over.
Then in 2004, a friend at an ad agency in Milwaukee pointed out that my one-two punch of business experience and "way with words" was tailor-made for a career as a freelance copywriter. I jumped in with both feet and haven't looked back.
